Ahmed Taleb Ali Al Shamsi

Ahmed Taleb Al Shamsi was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Foundation in September 2019. An emerging pioneer in the field of Youth Empowerment, Al Shamsi possesses an outstanding track record in youth development, mobilization and engagement as well as partnership building, leadership communication and strategic operations.
Ahmed was also the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Youth Council from 2017 to early 2019 and the first UAE UN Youth Ambassador.
In his role as the UAE UN Youth Ambassador, Al Shamsi focused on enhancing young people’s involvement and contributions to the National Development Agenda and ensuring their voices and needs are heard by different stakeholders.
He is a graduate of the American University of Washington DC with a degree in International Relations with post-graduate courses from Georgetown University, Oxford University, Harvard University, Columbia University and Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst.
Dr. Maliha Hashmi

Dr. Maliha Hashmi is the Executive Director and the Deputy Sector Head for the Health & Wellbeing Sector at NEOM, where she also served as the Executive Director for all Strategic Partnerships. Dr. Hashmi also serves as a Leading Expert & Council Member for the Prestigious Global Future Council on Health & Healthcare at the World Economic Forum.
Dr. Maliha Hashmi has held Executive roles in various sectors and globally renowned organizations and is a well-known name in the region for health & wellbeing. Dr. Maliha Hashmi received her Doctorate and Master’s Degrees from Harvard and MIT.
Dr. Maliha Hashmi is listed as one of the top 20 women in the Nation in the United States of America for her achievements making it into the Who’s Who in America List.

Mr. Ibrahim S. AlSuwail is the Investor Services and Advisory Deputy at the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA) since July 2017.
He is a member of the board of directors of STC Specialized Telecommunications Company, as well as the Saudi Port Authority and Electricity & Cogeneration Regulatory Authority. Ibrahim holds a bachelor's degree in international business from [KAU] and an MBA from INSEEC University in Paris.
AlSuwail also holds a high diploma in entrepreneurial and small business operations from Washington State University, and has attended several strategy, finance, technology and marketing courses at the London Business School, Harvard Business School, Insead Business School, MIT and Ashridge Business School.

Dominic Keogh Peters is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and highly experienced in HR Strategy & Delivery, HR Transformation, Performance Management, Organisational Development and Cultural Change. Dominic has worked in,Retail, Platform Distribution, E Commerce, Telecoms and Retail. His 14 + years of experience in the Middle East has been working alongside some of the world’s leading brands in fast paced commercial environments. Dominic currently works as the Group HR Director at Axiom Telecom a US$ 2 billion Group that specialises in Platform Distribution, Wholesale, Retail, White Label accessories and customisation. His main focus is supporting Business Transformation and the strategic development of Talent, Culture and Capability across the organisation. In addition, Dominic is a lecturer on CIPD programmes for the PWC academy, a mentor for the CIPD and has lectured on HR strategy at leading universities in the UAE and KSA. He is currently pursuing his global fellowship in Talent Management from Wharton Business School.

Simarna Singh is a passionate sustainability advocate and she is actively involved in actioning the SDGs, with a strong belief that “the Youth will make a difference and they will not stop until they are heard...”.
Her exposure and experience revolve around consulting the 4- and 5-Star Hospitality Industry in the UAE on their sustainability compliance. Academically she holds a 1st class Honors degree from the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, in International Hospitality and Tourism, affiliated with École Hôtelière de Lausanne.
At the start of her career in October 2017, soon after Simarna was accepted as a United Nations Global Compact Youth Ambassador in the UAE, she initiated and founded the Sustainable Relationship Partners in Dubai which has held 39 well attended educational sessions bringing together a diverse group of accomplished leaders from the Government, Academia, Private Sector and Civil Society.

Jumana ABU HANNOUD

Jumana is a Founding Partner and Board Member of Reach, the first non-profit incorporated organization in DIFC, dedicated to female mentoring and professional development in the Middle East. She is also a co-founder and Steering Committee member of the 30% Club GCC chapter, a UK-based voluntary business collaboration platform for accelerating the representation of women on boards and in senior executive positions.
Jumana is a humanitarian and serial entrepreneur having established and co-managed 3 start-ups where she focused on social impact and responsible business, and consulted on projects for UNHCR, UNAIDS, WFP, UNICEF, Dubai Cares and Plan International. She has worked as a Public Information Officer for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and supported the SOS International Children’s Villages, Gulf Area Office in a voluntary advisory capacity for 3 years prior to joining the organization as Managing Director of the Gulf Area Office for another 3 years, serving the cause of orphans and abandoned children in the MENA region and worldwide.

Othman is the Chair of the Youth 20 engagement group in 2020 and a Research Lead at the Misk Foundation where he leads multiple research initiatives that aim not only to understand the challenges faced by young people, but also young people can take the lead in solving them. He leads the development of the Global Youth Index that tracks youth development in 25 countries and a Global Future Skills initiative that aims to uncover future learning journeys for youth in six cities globally. Othman manages the content creation of various white papers on topics relevant to young people, such as the future of work, youth leadership, and youth entrepreneurship. He holds his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Penn State University, and a Master’s degree from Duke University.

Anwaar Al Shimmari is Chief Innovation Officer and Director of Design at the UAE’s Ministry of Infrastructure Development (MOID) where she also leads the artificial intelligence (AI) team and the authority’s Scientific Research committee.
Eng. Al Shimmari has 19 years of multi-discipline experience in architecture, urban planning, engineering, and infrastructure sectors. She is official judge, keynote speaker and trainer in the fields of engineering, Innovation, AI, and Leadership. She have judged over 4000 individuals, entities, and projects including Sharjah Innovation Award 2020.
